Yao Yao's Pig Farm Diary
Day 1: Today, I started my pig farming journey. I visited the local market to buy some piglets. The piglets were so cute and energetic. I named them after my favorite characters: Porky, Lulu, and Bao Bao. I set up a cozy pen for them and prepared their first meal of corn and soybean meal.
Day 2: The piglets are growing fast. I noticed that Porky is the most curious and adventurous. He often explores the pen and tries to find new things to play with. Lulu and Bao Bao are more cautious, but they are also starting to show their personalities. I gave them a bath today and they seemed to enjoy it.
Day 3: The weather is getting warmer, and the piglets are getting more active. I added some fresh vegetables to their diet to keep them healthy. Porky is now the leader of the group. He teaches Lulu and Bao Bao how to play and eat. I also noticed that they are starting to show some aggression towards each other. I need to be more careful when handling them.
Day 4: I built a new pen for the piglets to provide more space for them to move around. They seem to be happier with the new environment. Porky and Lulu are now the best of friends, while Bao Bao is still a bit shy. I also started to train them to come when called. It's a challenging task, but I believe they will get the hang of it soon.
Day 5: Today, I had to take Porky to the vet for a routine check-up. The vet said he is doing well and growing at a healthy pace. I learned a lot about pig health and nutrition during the visit. I also bought some new toys for the piglets to keep them entertained.
Day 6: The piglets are now almost three months old. They have doubled in size and are eating a lot of food. I started to introduce them to the outdoor pen. They love to run around and play in the sun. I noticed that Lulu is the fastest runner, while Bao Bao is the slowest but the most determined.
Day 7: I have been keeping a close eye on the piglets' health. Today, I noticed that Bao Bao is not eating as much as the others. I weighed him and found that he has lost some weight. I called the vet, and they suggested that I feed him more nutritious food and keep an eye on his condition.
Day 8: Bao Bao's condition has improved, and he is eating more. I am relieved to see him regain his appetite. The piglets are growing up so fast. I can't believe how much they have changed in just a few months. I am proud of their progress and look forward to seeing them continue to grow.
Day 9: I started to teach the piglets some basic commands, like "sit" and "stay." They are learning quickly, and it's fun to watch them follow my instructions. Porky is the smartest one, and he can do most of the commands without any problems. Lulu and Bao Bao are catching up, but they still need a bit more practice.
Day 10: Today, I had a visit from my friend, Tom. He is interested in pig farming and wanted to learn from my experience. I showed him around the farm and shared some tips on pig care and management. It was great to have someone to share my passion with.
As the days go by, my pig farming diary continues to grow. I am learning so much and enjoying every moment with my adorable piglets. I can't wait to see what the future holds for them and for me in this exciting journey.
